The team is looking for a Data Science Manager who is responsible for driving revenue growth and by building Predictive, Prescriptive, Analytics Models/Data Science solutions using AI/ML/DL Technologies
Data Science Manager will lead all the presales activities across the organization by partnering with sales teams and account teams, solutions team and emerging tech capability team to develop new and innovative solutions, create contextual pitches, explore new markets and customers, create new GTMs and thereby increase AI adoption share for the organization and execute practice growth strategies. He/she will implement programs, processes and tooling to deliver high quality pre-sales and solution experiences.
The ideal candidate is an experienced technology leader with program development experience, proven track record by interfacing with customers and other leaders in the organization, Pre-sales experience and technically comfortable at design and architectural level. You will be a member of our AI leadership team and will have significant impact in helping us to plan and execute on AI-ML solutions, products and services.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Solution & Offering development - Develop new solutions and develop new data products/offerings for clients in BFS, Healthcare, Insurance, Lifesciences.
2) Pre-sales & Business Development Create highly contextual customer presentations, be an active part and lead conversations in client meetings from a technical perspective, Help sales team with client pitch and presales activities.
3) Team operations – Lead a team of Junior data scientists to successfully deliver AI-ML projects
4) Practice Growth – Grow Analytics/AI-ML practice in terms of solutions portfolio, accounts, active pipeline.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Overall, 10 to 12 yrs. of exp in solving customer problems with Data and 3-4 years of experience as Data Scientist for BFSI, Life Sciences, Health Care
Pre-Sales and Business Development (55%)
Market analysis for diligence information on product competition
Support Pre-sales efforts of the product (includes Proposal Writing and related Collaterals)
Anchor AI-ML focused deal responses
Assist in solution development and articulation based on the scope and problem statement (Request for Proposals (RFPs))
Collaborate with teams involved to enable the RFP/RFI responses
Handle customer meetings/demos on AI-ML capabilities and solution demonstrations
Coordinate and support client discussions, enhance sales capabilities through creation of new solution collaterals, Point of Views etc.
Build strong rapport with practice teams, delivery teams, sales team at both onsite & offshore
AI-ML Solution Architect (45%)
Experience in machine learning, supervised and unsupervised: Forecasting, Classification, Data/Text Mining, NLP, Decision Trees, Adaptive Decision Algorithms, Random Forest, Search Algorithms, Neural Networks, Deep Learning Algorithms.
Experience in statistical learning: Predictive & Prescriptive Analytics, Parametric and Non-parametric models, Regression, Time Series, Dynamic / Causal Model, Statistical Learning, Guided Decisions, Topic Modelling
Deep understanding and 4-5 years of hands-on experience in developing models using Machine Learning and Deep Learning related technologies
Strong programming skills in one or more scripting languages like R, Python, Scala or similar scripting language
Experience with Data Visualization tools like Tableau, Microsoft Power BI
Exposure to working on AI/Data Science/Analytics platforms like SAS, Microsoft AI, Amazon AI, IBM WATSON, H20, Knime
Strong business acumen to understand business objectives & dynamics and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams
Experience in analysing complex problems and translating them to data science algorithms with due attention to computational efficiency and testing at scale.Roles and Responsibilities
